Mr. Friedman opened his law firm,
Friedman & Associates, LLC in January, 1992. Prior to the
opening of Friedman & Associates, LLC, Mr. Friedman was
employed at the law firm of Saul, Ewing, (fka - Weinberg and
Green) in the Banking/Commercial Law Department. In addition to his work in the commercial field, Mr. Friedman has extensive experience in environmental law, commercial litigation, insurance defense and corporate law. His practice includes drafting and negotiation of contracts and representation of local, national and international businesses in a wide range of litigation matters. Mr. Friedman also represents various creditors in FDCPA defense matters. Mr. Friedman has been a lecturer at various local seminars, concentrating on commercial litigation and bankruptcy issues for the large and small business. Mr. Friedman is a member of the American Bar Association, Maryland State Bar Association, District of Columbia Bar Association, National Association of Retail Collection Attorneys and the ACA. He is also actively involved in Maryland Lawyers for the Arts, a non-profit organization which assists local artists with various legal problems. Mr. Friedman sits on the board of directors for the Maryland Home and Community Care Foundation, a non-profit organization which gives money to 501(c)(3) companies that have new and production ideas for home health care. Mr. Friedman is also involved in the Maryland/DC Creditors Bar Association where he is the judicial liason to the Baltimore and Carroll County judges. Jeff Friedman received his juris doctor from New York Law School and attended Clark University where he received his Bachelor Degree in Chemistry. |
